Hello September! September is a beautiful month. It is Spring in Australia. Certainly flowers will be blooming. I love to indulge myself in the weather, warm in the morning and noon, cold at the evening. Where can you have such wealth! Australia is a beautiful country with friendly people around.
My September trip this time, i went to Manly island. I was quite surprised with the name Manly. Why they named it Manly? Is it full of men? How can be an island full of men? Im happy to find out. Its a trip full of mysteries. Manly island is not far from the mainland, its only about 30 minutes from the harbour.
We can go there by public ferry from Circular Quay. People are friendly and helpful in Australia, so its not a sweat to find a way to get there.
The fare is only $16 for one way trip. It was spring so on ur way to get to Manly island you can see many boats are sailing. Its just like a festivals. A beautiful sight. The water is calm, the wind is just blowing to your cheeks.
When we reached Manly island, there were so many people. It was weekend. The trip was on Sunday. Everybody is spending their free time to relax with their family and loves ones.
It was Sunday, they have Sunday market at weekends. They are selling many things in a reasonable price. You can buy souvenirs for your friends and family like fridge magnets, mugs, t-shirts and just whatever you like, you can find it here to bring home.

Besides walking at the Sunday market, the beach is the best in the world. You can see the blue ocean. In spring time, you can see there are many activities are happening around here. Some are snorkelling, parasailing, hiking, swimming or just sit by the beach to enjoy the views. As for me i love to take pictures and snacking. Manly island is alive on its own. Amazing!
A trip to Manly island certainly will always in my mind. You can see the blue clear water and smashing waves. The flowers are rarely found at other places. Some people say if you are lucky, you might have a glimpse of the whales or dolphins passing by.
If you are food lovers. Manly island never disappoints you. Here they have open bars and many eateries by the beach. All are open at weekends serving tasty, divine foods and drinks.
On my way back it was already evening. It was almost dark. So on the way back you can see the sunset and the city of Sydney. At this time, everybody will get their camera ready to captured Sydney and the sun, the moment they says good night to each other.
The mytery is solved. Manly island is just a name and nothing to do with men. I will visit Manly island again at another time and season.
